Wal*Mart shutting down DRM server, nuking your music collection if you "bought" it from Wal-Mart.
Which is to say, you didn't buy anything, you rented that music and are about to lose it because Wal-mart decided to.
What does this do to people who wanted to legitimately buy their music? Screws them over. What does this do to people that downloaded music illegally? Not a thing.
Nice work, Wally. Next are you going to demand a quarter from shoppers to keep the lights turned on while they're in your store?
I expect lawsuits over this shutting down of the servers and I expect Wal-Mart to lose, again.
