Be A F%&ing Person: Walmart Won't Let Family Print Photos Of Dead Relative For Funeral

Be A F$%#ing Person: Walmart Won't Let Family Print Photos Of Dead Relative For Funeral citing copyright law.
After the death of a relative, Mike put together a photo tribute for the funeral, in order to "remember the good times," he says. Only a Walmart cashier put a stop to his purchase. Here's what happened. Do you think Walmart was in the right?
I think Wal-Mart is crazy to allow cashiers to determine copyright legality at the checkout. These are, generally, woefully ignorant people exercising a very, very poor understanding of a complex issue in copyright. But then, I tend to think that Wal-Mart is crazy and wrong to begin with.

Best bet, in this instance, would have been to use a self-service photo kiosk and do the printing without their assistance. Or, you know, to go to another store where employees don't invoke poorly understood laws arbitrarily.
